When you visit the ASU California Center, you’ll see how students in game, film, fashion, media and design learn in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.
ASU FIDM
Prepares students for careers across the fashion industry through hands-on, industry-connected learning. Students develop career ready skills in design, technical development, merchandising, costume creation and production working in studios and environments that reflect the realities of today’s fashion industry.
The Sidney Poitier New American Film School
Prepares students for careers across film, television, and digital media. Students learn from award-winning faculty who are active industry professionals, bringing current insights and real-world experience directly into the classroom. Students build career-ready skills in filmmaking, production, screenwriting, and visual storytelling while developing both the creative and technical expertise needed to bring stories from concept to screen.
The GAME School
Prepares students to lead and manage creative teams in the global games industry through hands-on, studio-based learning. Blending design, technology, and business, students learn how to coordinate game development from concept and prototyping through launch and live operations, while building real-world skills in production management, collaboration and interactive storytelling.

Group Visit
If you are an educator or school counselor looking to schedule an in-person group visit for eight or more people to the ASU California Center, you can submit a request through our group visit form. Go to visit.asu.edu/groupvisit and select ASU California Center when you complete the request.
Individuals considering a graduate program are encouraged to reach out to their academic department to schedule an in-person visit.

ASU in LA Day
ASU in LA Day is a one-day, on-site event where you will tour the ASU California Center, experience student life, and meet with college representatives and current students from ASU and ASU Local.
